Terms of sale

The terms that apply when you buy a FootyBox from this website. They don’t affect your legal rights as a consumer.

Your order

  • You place an order when you pay at checkout. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see your card details.
  • We'll email to confirm your order. The contract between us starts when we send that email.
  • If we can't fulfil your order, for example because we've run out of parts, we'll tell you and refund you in full.
  • Prices are in pounds sterling and are the total price for the box. Delivery is added at checkout and shown before you pay.

The product

  • FootyBox shows live football scores using data from a third-party data provider. Live scores are included for 2 years from when you first set up your box; after that they continue for £12 a year. If you don't renew, the box keeps showing your team's latest result and next fixture, updated once a day. How quickly scores appear depends on that provider.
  • It needs a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network with internet access and a USB power supply (not included).
  • Which leagues and teams are covered depends on our data provider and may change. We'll keep the service running for at least as long as the security support period on our security page.
  • FootyBox is not connected to or endorsed by any club, league or governing body.

Cancelling and returns

You have 14 days from delivery to cancel. See delivery and returns for how.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We don't exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings there.
